French Freestyle-Soccer-Player Séan Arnaud Garnier was crowned world freestyle football champion on tuesday 18 november 2008 in São Paulo, Brazil. Participants from 42 countries battled it out head-to-head in the South American footballing Mecca for the prestigious title at the Red Bull Street Style 2008 World Finals. Right in the heart of the thousands of fans cramming the Complexo Exportivo do Pacaembú were superstars Edgar Davids (NED), Bebeto (BRA), and futsal world champion Falcão (BRA), whose task it was to judge the performances of the athletes based on the criteria ball control, technique, and style in combination with the music. A fearless goalkeeper, Mark has made a name for himself both for his penalty shoot-out heroics against Uruguay with the Socceroos, and his consistent displays in the English Premier League over the past decade – he’s currently considered one of the best keepers in that prestigious League.
