Whoa there. You need to stop putting words in my mouth; I don’t hate Contador, but I don’t like him either. He’s not a likable figure.
Like I said in my original comment, my support is for Andy S. if Armstrong can’t win.
Why do you hate on Contador? What has he done wrong? Been on the same team as Armstrong and outperformed him as the younger and better athlete (at the moment)?
Armstrong was great and all that but he is past it now (in terms of winning the Tour), so move on and start supporting young talent like Contador, Schleck, Gesink, Fulgsang, Kennaugh, Boasson-Hagen, Greipel, Farrar, Meyer and Cavendish. Stop living in the past. Lance was great, but like all sports stars he’s at the end of his career.
@btinder711 Dutch Vrijman is a close friend of Verbbruggen, ex UCI president, who received the famous $500.000 donation of Lance which was secretly kept for years.
How could you believe that investigation was well-conducted?
Have you read the WADA rebuttal of that alleged “independent” report?

In October 2005, Dutch lawyer Emile Vrijman to investigate the handling of urine tests by LNDD. Vrijman was head of the Dutch anti-doping agency for ten years; since then he has worked as a defense attorney defending high-profile athletes against doping charges, The report said tests on urine samples were conducted improperly and fell so short of scientific standards that it was “completely irresponsible” to suggest they “constitute evidence of anything.”
A secret $500.000 donation to UCI after a failed test in1999 could explain that.
Isn’t it the UCI president who said all those years that there were no doping just a few bad apples?
Retrotesting done by LNDDD on 1998 and 1999 samples proved he was wrong.
The analyze of riders blood samples done by Lausanne lab proved he was wrong too.
Police investigations proved it too.

If Lance is so doped, why has he never failed a doping test and why is he not under some sort of ban?
Answer that.
Why do you support a such doped athlete?
My support is behind Lance in 2010 but if he can’t do it I certainly hope Andy can stop Contador.

We’ll see. Contador’s tour-team sucks all the way through – only new riders, that he has never raced with before, and Andy is still younger and improving his skills day after day.
@TheArticTundra16 because he is stuck in the shadow of contador with no real other rivals apart from brad who doesnt have time on his side this is going to be a rival that will entertain for years much like the armstrong ullrich and just like the armstrong ullrich rivalry there will only ever be one winner

To be honest i don’t really think he cares about the money. He has dedicated his life to cycling and the only thing he has fought for his whole life is to get that victory. By the way he’s very glad to be at Saxobank so i can’t see any reasons to why he should leave them in the nearest future.
