Where do people come up with this ”monroe” plays no defense?He does EVERYTHING better than udoh,while playing against much MUCH better competetion!The only reason the soft label came his way is because he didnt consistantly finish strong at the basket,because he needs to bulk up a little.Thats basically it.He’s a better EVERYTHING than udoh.Not saying monroe will be an all-star,but udoh will be out of the league in 3 years.Horrible HORRIBLE pick!

@tweetie35 Yeah that’s because they traded away their second round pick for $2 mil! It’s no ones fault but the Warriors own that they had no second round choice…. And having only one draft pick doesn’t excuse the fact that they made it a bad one! But like I said, it’s not on ekpe for being drafted when he did! It’s their 3rd 6′ 10′ PF they’ve drafted in the last 4 drafts and the only exception was curry last year who fell into their laps!

@Dreeaamzz: It’s not a knock on Ekpe Udoh & it’s not his fault the GSW drafted him WAY too high! It’s also not his fault that he’s the 3rd 6′ 10” PF drafted high in the first round, by the Warriors! I’m going 2 be pissed tho, if Riley trades AR for that SF we needed which was available in the draft!
the only reason we were almost last in blocks and rebounds is because wright was out the whole year, randolph played what 30 games? and andris couldnt handle his paycheck being 10x bigger than usual. this creates a log jam of young talent at the 4 and to be honest id rather see what wright can turn into and watch randolph get better every day than watch udoh foul out by halftime. i agree that there was no better option at 6, thats why we should have packaged it with monta or biedrins…
