Giants Hold Off Late Rally In Victory Over Dodgers
Aubrey Huff hit a go-ahead two-run double in the third inning and added a solo homer and the San Francisco Giants held off a late rally to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-5 on Friday night. Tim Lincecum (11-4) scattered seven hits and two runs over seven innings to win for the first time since July 15 and pull the Giants within 2 ½ games of first-place San Diego in the NL West.
