Tim DeBacco has one of the most recognizable voices in Pittsburgh. For more than two decades, DeBacco has been the public address announcer for the Pirates. From announcing players to calling the pierogi race, DeBacco’s voice is a familiar one. The perks also are a plus: He gets to watch baseball games and announce for his favorite team.

they are still playing. or i should say they are still terrible. please make it stop !!!
im from pittsburgh and i hate 2 say it but i only go 2 a baseball game when theres fireworks or a concert. at least we have 2 good teams…
Lucky I wasnt there to hear Dave’s sarcastic bullshit oh he would have a few missing teeth.
Lets Go Pirates
Is this video a bit critical of the Bucks? Sure. But did these guys taser anyone? HECK NO!
Someone wearing a jersey from a team that was the reigning champion in its sport as of the time of my 2009 birthday (when Freddy Sanchez, the LaRoche brothers, and Jack Wilson were all still Pirates) can be seen at 3:24. Since this was, after all, in Pittsburgh, two possibilities are the Penguins (2 weeks into their Stanley Cup championship) or the Steelers. But it is a different team.
Brilliant.
Tom Waits is big in Japan. Nine More Outs is big in Namibia.
hahahhahah, classic
GO GO SUCCCCCCOS!
There loss 0-20 loss to the Brewers yesterday only adds to the misery…
Your Best yet!
Awesome…the release has been heavily anticipated for a long time.
I love Tim’s voice! He’s great and a great part of the ‘burgh!
Tim DeBacco and John Barbaro have been huge inspirations for where I want to get in my career. I hope to perform at the major league level someday.
Great job Tim!
I love tim’s voice
The Penguins should have used him as John Barbaro’s replacement instead Ryan Mill
Nice video indeed! Never knew who was the guy behind that voice…He has a nice job!!!
Tim DeBacco is amazing. I think he’s in the same league as John Barbero.
Great vid, and I like the guy who hits the homer in the video! Go LaRoche!
