My thoughts on Sony’s E3 Keynote. I thought it was very good. Sony didn’t blow me away but maybe its because I knew a lot of the stuff they were showing. Thankfully Sony didn’t make it all about 3D & PsMove. Sony also focused on many great new games. they also told us the cost of PlayStation Move following an inspiring speech from pitchman Kevin Butler. PsMove will hit store shelves on September 19, and will cost .99. The “Navigation controller” (formerly titled Sub-Controller) will cost . The Move and PlayStation Eye will come with a copy of Sports Champions in a .99 bundle. Finally, a bundle coming with a PS3 Slim and the Move controller will hit store shelves on the same date for 9.99. Sadly no mention of a PSP2 or many details on the new paid service. Sony has confirmed its intentions to offer a premium for-pay version of the PlayStation Network. The name is slightly different from what was initially reported, and will now be called PlayStation Plus. Online play will still be available for all PSN members, free and paying. PlayStation Plus offers a number of added perks, though: Exclusive in-game DLC and other content Free full games, changing each month Early access to demos and betas Auto-patching feature, which will detect, download and install updates PlayStation Plus will be available later this month for annually, or for three months. @Elbottoo ok the GTA games for ps2 came to xbox. in other words they were exclusive for a limited time. also when ISN’T a 1st party game exclusive (MS has those too) fact of the matter is most games today are multi-platform, it costs way too much money to get 3rd party exclusives (even a limited one). I’m not bashing the PS3 I will own one someday, but I’m not gonna buy one just to play gow3 and watch blu-ray when i can play 98% percent of the games on the market on a 360
@Tranzphonic Unless MS is getting GTA as an exclusive (which isnt gonna happen), there is no failure on Sonys part. And guess what. Sony 1st party are all exclusives no matter what. Wheres microsofts exclusiveS? 360 has no games. no exclusives none. Mass effect and gears will come to PS3 eventually. If not this year, its gonna be next. If not next, its gonna be the year after. @Elbottoo u know ur right. no one is buying kinect (aka natal). probly because it hasn’t been released. what IS utter failure is SONY not getting exclusives like GTA as in the past. the lack of exclusives is the MAIN reason I don’t own a PS3 yet. Blu-ray and gow3 are the only interest i have in ps3 at this point

Hey Matrix, love your vids, I just got a Samsung Tv and Best Buy is offering me a Samsung blu ray player for 50.00 more because I bought the tv from them. But I am getting a PS3 Slim in the next few days, so is it worth it to fork over and extra 50 bucks for a second blu ray player, I only have one hd tv so I would only be using one blu ray player. But some people say that the blu ray drive on the ps3 wears down if you play both ps3 games and movies.
