Now, with the support of Australian surfing legends Ross Clark-Jones and Tony Ray, Daniel is determined to take on the monster Hawaiian waves. We follow Daniel’s intensive preparations in New Zealand, with all the trials and tribulations involved in the big build-up. In Hawaii, Daniel is soon proving his ability as a big wave jet ski driver with ever-increasing confidence. The climax to his day comes when he takes to his board for that one last wave and ends up catching the biggest wave of the day. Daniel has come of age as a big wave surfer.
