zedbout, reminds me of why I watch basketball, along with all the bloopers. If you can’t dunk yet, you have to start training. I definitely recommend you to try the one I’m using – (50 inch vertical [dot] com) – I m 5 7 and I can dunk!

  2. itsgoindown92 says:

    @zedbout he was 5’6″ bro

  3. johnjordan5302 says:

zedbout dude, just what else is there to say?. Anyone who owns or plays with a bball need to all know the way to dunk, I only a short time ago finished the training system at 50inch vertical[dot]com – It’s’ great! (I m merely 5’10!)

  4. timlogan5363 says:

anybody else other than just zedbout tested out the nba exercise course for dunking and shooting? Even players like Kobe Bryant, Ray Allen and Arenas have suggested this course. If you have no idea what’s going on, just look at 50inch vertical[dot]com

zedbout If you play bball at all, you have to take a look at this – 50inch vertical[dot]com – It’s a unique workout that will def help you begin dunking without even going to the local gym it’s not required

The Hawks were nowhere near what they had been in their “Air Force” days. Bringing in Moses Malone and Reggie Theus was a MAJOR mistake… MAJOR.

Yeah, the Hawks were pretty good this season, but they weren’t what they had been! Look at how porous the defense is with Malone instead of Tree Rollins!

Also, firing Mike Fratello was a mistake. Trading Antoine Carr for Kenny Smith was a mistake. No shot at Kenny, but our guards were out due to injury, and they let go of Kenny after that anyway!!!!!

  10. karmatmor72 says:

Remember this season. The Hawks started out like crap (they fired Fratello after the previous yr and Bob Weiss became coach) but they got their sh!t together (kind of) and made the playoffs where they lost to Detroit. They had the franchise record for home game win streak (think it was 22 or something like that). My senior yr in HS.

  11. BusBoyIsBack says:

yeah Lebron never would have passed the ball on that breakaway

  12. AgentZTN says:

holy he dunked twice!!AND he’s 28 years old already!
have Nate ever dunked twice in a NBA game?

  13. braves15 says:

The Hawks are what brought Skip to Atlanta in the first place. Skip announced for them when they were the St. Louis Hawks (his dad did the Cardinals games for years, so he was born and raised in St. Louis). When the Hawks moved to Atlanta, so did Skip. Once he came to Atlanta, he was hired by the Braves.

this is from april 6 1991

  15. ritchyallday says:

how does he jump dat high

  16. CommonSenseBrigade says:

That’s because they primarily were baseball announcers.

Skip Carey announced Braves games on WSB for decades. However, early in his career, he did announce Hawks games (long before this clip). Every once in a while, he’d announce a Hawks game, if it were on TBS, the station that aired Braves games daily (up to 2007).

  17. davydmx says:

The Omni was the place to be for me growing up. That place had it all (Ice skating rink, videogame arcade, CNN, and the Hawks). I hope Philips arena can have the same memories with time (Rip Skip).

  18. blade4hero says:

I wonder why they demolish old arenas and build new ones. Is it for safety reasons or purely financial ones? I think it could be some of both but mostly financial to make more money off a brand new structure to improve ticket sales and hype over the team turning over a new leaf. I think the same is true for when new paint is coated on the arena floor or when the name of the arena is changed on the court. I think it is to get more money to stay in business or attract more fans.

  19. MrB1gSh0t says:

lol the commentors sucked in old basketball but it still was a great game. the commentors are to plain..

  20. sxw says:

Wow the old Omni in Atlanta. I haven’t seen a classic game from there in a long time. I was in that building several times for Hawks games and WCW wrestling events.

  21. ECWnWWF says:

I like the uniforms both Pacers and Hawks were wearing during this time period. And the old Omni I like the older arenas, I just think they made the sports seem more “magestic”.

  22. nonplayerzealot says:

^ Second that sentiment. Great announcer, fun voice, honest commentaries. R.I.P.

  23. Spr463 says:

First off, R.I.P. Skip Caray, you will be missed.
Secondly, I miss TBS, the superstation; not TBS, the network.

  24. jasoul07 says:

  25. homersimpson9 says:

Where’s Reggie Miller and why isn’t he playing for the Pacers during that game?
