  17. KingJames4Ever23 says:

@stevenlu12 I didn’t see the what he said before that… but the Colorado Rockies were an expansion team in 1991. It usually takes an expansion team at least 6 years to establish any sort of a decent roster and then another 6 years to establish any kind of competition. It’s actually pretty amazing that they got the world series in ’06 or ’07 or whatever it was. You should probably think about something logically before blindly replying to it.

    Go ROX!

  19. dakotaridge says:

Something needs to be done about this camera shake. Why was this even posted? The quality is as poor as it gets … either too much beer or too much meth, hard to tell which.

  20. SuperColoradorockies says:

  21. drumline17 says:

@danteras23 and he still hasnt been tagged out. and atkins still hasnt been awarded his home run. way to be one-sided

  22. Sk00t3r4L1f3 says:

@marko5280 and where do u live? kentucky? u fucking redneck. what team do u support. ?????? the fucking cowboys and the ducks?

  23. blazeruzamaki67 says:

you can watch this over and over again because this is the closet thing by ever winning a world series 45-31 619 is our name end of story.

  24. danteras23 says:

He still hasn’t touched home plate.

  25. MegaTooEasy says:

the umpire told everyone why he called holliday safe after the game: the catcher blocked the plate without securing the ball, resulting in an automatic call of safe, regardless of whether holliday touched the plate or not. however, i think i’ve seen plays where the catcher blocked the plate before securing the ball and still tagging the runner out?

  26. den24cb says:

Only reason the rocks lost the world series is because the sox juiced up lol it’s proven.

  27. thegodsarewithus says:

@ABBvodka69 i know this is late, but i revisited this after the blown perfect game call. you said he didn’t touch the plate, but was never tagged out, therefore a win. The umpire already called him safe, so why would the catcher attempt to apply the tag?

  28. MMOKing says:

it was replayed again and again, and Matt Baird blocked the plate perfectly, Holiday slid into his leg, bounced off, and never touched the plate. The ump needed to grow a pair and call him out as he was!!!

  29. Imcoolwiththis says:

Ok Im a diehard Rockies fan but I do not see any evidence showing that he touched the plate. Of course, nothing shows him missing it. This may have been a lucky moment, but you cant argue with 21 of 22 games won in the end of the season.

  30. TheDizzan42 says:

@stevenlu12 yeah, but you also have 5 baseball teams in CA. either way, one of New Yorks teams has more titles than all 5 of your teams put together

  31. bindeho83 says:

This was one of the best games i ever saw. Too bad the ump didn’t have the balls to call Holiday out… because Holiday never did touch home plate.

  32. CaffineMan777 says:

@aidnarsurmaj so they at least made it to the ws.

  33. CaffineMan777 says:

@blazeruzamaki67 just watch them win this year just because you said that, just watch i GURANTEE IT!!!

  34. jeffg24LT21 says:

@cowking77 um what the hell does that have to do with this game dude and um u got stomped 4-0 in the world series and u obviously have no life u have over half the comments on this video u no life

  35. stevenlu12 says:

what are you talking about i dont even like the padres

  36. cowking77 says:

    have to get there first

  37. cowking77 says:

What I love about being an umpire is the ump is always right. Anyone argues, they either shut up or they’re gone. Best job ever.

  38. cowking77 says:

Know what would have made a difference. Winning just one little game against the Brewers. A playoff team wins 14 of 15 when it matters, losers blow leads in the 9th to sub-par teams when they could put it away.

  39. cowking77 says:

more exciting aka Phillies would have won because SD was a worse team?
