@atgblue1 Sorry, but. they’re absolutely correct. A booby tap, or even a sniper, wounding an enemy combatant is going to demoralize and slow the rest of that unit. If you demoralize the unit, get them scared and confuse them, it makes it harder for them to complete their mission. This is the essence of guerrilla tactics and has been used for centuries.

@TSxUCEHADOUKEN That’s US army in the British army it’s tough shit you’re out there are no compromises in the British Army you’re either good enough or you aren’t, we don’t have any different basic training, in all corps and regiments you do the same basic training.
what u talking about is boot camp okay, thats just to get in, Each branch has it’s own qualifications as to what basic training is. Some harder than others. In my company the failure rate was about 20%. You don’t really fail, you get recycled and stay a lot longer than you have to. They got recycled for all kinds of different reasons caught going AWOL, can’t hack it, insubordination, caught with contraband, couldn’t pass the last PT test and/or the one that transitions you from Basic to AIT,etc.
but yeah the marine corps are better than US army by a long shot
Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind the US army I just wished they were better trained I mean just the 14 week basic (non infantry), infantry training obviously is longer, in the Brit army is a lot better than the US army, theres something like a 60-70% pass rate in the brit army cause its so hard to do but that’s how it should be.

your 100% right. i was in the USMC. and one of my cpls was shot at by an army convoy with a 50 cal. luckily no one was hurt. but you can imagine they hung that soldier out to dry.
why no heal hooks? the boots maybe?
