Please don’t congratulate Uruguay if you don’t agree with the rules established by the FIFA. Uruguay deserved it as much as Ghana did. Suarez paid the prize and then we paid the price against the Netherlands.

Fair enough…did you go to a game in Ur? Wow, the passion. I just question yr conclusions about the morals of Uruguayans based on they’re happy Ur won. The Urguayans I know feel for Ghana, esp. Gyan. I think your heart is in the right place and initialy I shared your opinion about the outcome but after a while I got it, Suarez either used reflexes or he was completely rational. So much Ur bashing around just now but any team could have found themselves in the same situation.

@santasbike Suarez broke the rules hoping that Ghana would miss the penalty & that’s what happened. He still broke the rules & helped Uruguay to stay in the game & go on to win on penalties. I agree that Suarez is an awesome player. So is Ronaldo but i hate the fact that he dives a lot & that came back to haunt him in Portugal’s last game when he was fouled so many times & nothing was done.
@santasbike My reasons for living in Uruguay for 2 years in no one’s business. If most Australians think what Greg Chappel did was fine then yes the morals of Australians are brought into question. What Greg Chappel did has nothing to do with Australians. It’s how they react to it. I have seen & heard how many Uruguayans have reacted to what Suarez did & that brings their morals into question. So….you lived in Uruguay for 2 years, and u wonder about the morals of Uruguayans? What made u stay in Uruguay so long then? And what about Greg Chappel’s underarm then huh? That was fully calculated, offering no chance of NZ win. Does that make us wonder about the morals of Australians? No not at all, just spur of the moment decisions in sport, some are regretted and some are applauded. Suarez is a great player playing for his team and his country and took full advantage of the rules.

@oooRielooo Unfortunately too many players cheat in football. Diving is cheating & unsportsmanlike. For me Football is the best & most beautiful game in the world but players that are unsportsmanlike bring the game into disrepute & there are a hell of lot of players that do. In other sports it happens occasionally & they get massive punishments for it but in Football you get away with it or caught hardly ever & when you do hardly anything happens so players keep doing it.

@grnstar77 This new rule i mentioned has nothing to do with kicking in the shins. It has to do with stopping an obvious goal in the way the cheat Suarez did. In that instance i would have the goal awarded , the player sent off & suspended for 10 games. You’d never see a player do it again with that rule.
