Western Conference Finals GM2 NBA 2K10 Online: OS Vets League Clippers (ChaseB) @ Jazz (Amedawg00)

Fresh off an OT thriller in game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, the Jazz return to the friendly confines of Salt Lake City, looking to complete the series sweep in this best of 3 series, thereby punching their ticket to the NBA Finals. An early first quarter injury to the Jazz superstar D. Will sent a chill through Energy Solutions Arena. Down but not out, the league MVP bounced back to nearly deliver a knock out blow to a top seeded Clipper team that were determined to extend the series back to LA With both teams scrapping for buckets and going blow for blow, the Jazz eventually broke through late in the fourth when they exploited a matchup exposing Steve Novak in the low to high post. And with that, the Jazz await the winner between GSW and Miami in the OS Vets NBA Finals.

@axi7s With online, shooting can be a crap shoot. A good technique is to hit RB for the icon passing symbols. If the letters come up immediately, release just as if you were playing offline. If there is a delay, which indicates slight lag, release a little later than usual. For most players, I release when their elbow extends. Some players are button (x) shooters, and some players are right stick releases, especially if their form is slower. Best method is to work to get open looks.

@brusselaer I’m awaiting the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals between MIA and GSW. I will post those games in the channel win or lose, so don’t worry lol.

@MrBallaBoy21 Yeah, consistent defense is wins games, especially online with 12 min quarters. With the 12 minute quarters, you have time to run an offense, call plays, and be patient, so inevitably the offense will come and go, but the defense is what separates the talent in most leagues.

  8. MrBallaBoy21 says:

You held him to 80 points in 12min quarters? Good D.

The Jazz needs to utilise Boozer more. Dude is virtually unstoppable in the low post on 2k10. His low post and inside scoring are 95 each give or take. Alot of people say he is hard to use, I disagree. He has a surprisingly good mid-range game too.
