    @symo72
    Yeah its the same with the Tier 1 tournaments too. The Brunswick Southern Classic, for example is contested on I think a 2:1 US Open pattern. Same with Sectionals, only they add a foot and a ton of reverse oil. I bowl for Florida State btw.

    @kickemstraight
    actually that is false, all college tournaments are bowled on sport shots but not always one of the five PBA patterns. I bowl collegiately for GMU and the tournament we hosted was on a kegel sport shot and most of the ones we bowled in were not on the 5 named patterns

    YOU look like cake, faggot.

  7. BUllo2525 says:

    what the hell are they saying

  8. bawags300 says:

    Since when are college tournaments on PBA conditions? They are bowled on different “sport” patterns that make the PBA patterns seem like house shots

  9. BowlerScott says:

    Haha, alright.

  10. kickemstraight says:

    All college bowling tournaments are contested on one of the five PBA patterns. CAKE is not one of them.

  11. BowlerScott says:

    This shot looks like cake.

  12. jcbtrackbowler says:

    @kickemstraight Is there even a tryout?

  13. kickemstraight says:

    Unfortunately, there are no longer any lanes on campus. The lanes used to be in the Student Center, but when it was renovated (actually, renovations are still going on), the lanes were removed. They will not be replaced. The club practices on Monday and Wednesday through the courtesy of Circle Bowl and Metro Bowl in Baton Rouge.

  14. cregxy says:

    @kickemstraight i know LSU has its own lanes but do you have to attend the school to use them or are they public? just wondering ive just taken an interest in bowling and i live right by the campus so it would be a great convenience to me if i could practice on the lanes there

  15. kickemstraight says:

    Bowling is not a varisty sport at LSU (for either men or women). There are no scholarships offered directly by the university. However, there is a complete schedule of intercollegiate competition (culminating with a national championship), and individuals can win scholarship money directly from tournaments throughout the season. Hope to see you in BR. Geaux Tigers!!

  17. jcbtrackbowler says:

    I’ll be there with them in 2 years :)

    Good info but not always true every one is different I’m a lefty I start with my right foot on board 35 and I roll over the 10 board on the arrow and come back to the pocket 8 out of 10 frames if the lane dries out on me I will start coming in on the 1/3 pocket now if this happens this is when I change my line by starting with my right foot on the 15 board and rolling the ball over the five board which ends up correcting itself when the lane is dry but they are right accuracy is a must for lefty

    I love the old Saturday at 3pm(east coast) bowling. Chris Schenkel and Burton. That was the best! I have an old Saturday show on VHS videotape where Chris Warren won all four games. I remember once when Nelson made the championship round and won all four games with his easy style.

  20. fredpunk123 says:

    typical lefty line for me :D

  21. royalsfan18 says:

    What mark are you looking at? When the ball gets to the arrows, the ball is at about the 2nd arrow, just like the man said. You need to study your game more, cuz you have no clue. Oh by the way, I’m a lefty too and carry a 213 average.

  22. damastadj94 says:

    Finally, a video directed towards left handed players. I thank you for this video and the tips.

  23. dcbandnerd says:

    I’ve actually started trying to bowl like a left hander, though I am right handed. The lefties seem to have a much more smooth and consistent shot and I want that for my game.

  24. UltimateExtremes says:

    Yeah, i totally agree, and being a left-handed bowler really lets me see this. If you miss that 2nd arrow which is a good mark to shoot for, you will either come too far in/out and it wont hook enough. I throw as hard or soft as i can but i cant get more than like 5 boards of PURE hook. Lefties need to have pin-point accuracy, Trust Me!

  25. hawky2 says:

    Your “mark” for the lefty, was no where near where he put the ball down. The righty was a little off too, but not near the lefty. I’m not a lefty, but that was just rude. The lefty hit way more towards the center arrow than what was indicated.
