I was Dales navigator on this fun filled weekend, that record time we set on sunday was sure one hell of a ride!!! we were hitting 112mph downstream and 100mph up on the long pulls, the wings on the front help fly the boat out of the water to get a bit more top end but we didnt need to use them…

Really nice video guys. Glad you left actual audio with the video. Hate it when a good video is dubbed over with some kind of music. Great video

@kdknitro That’s what I thought! Wild to see them in action and hear how it changes the pitch of the engine with the hull being lifted.

  6. racing16 says:

@SCRTpilot I don’t think they would give the bottom plans out for good reason since the company builds both race boats and family boats. Their hulls are replicated but never the same true design.

  7. SCRTpilot says:

Are there free hull plans available for the RC builder?

    Thanks.

  8. SCRTpilot says:

    That was fast!

  9. racing16 says:

@kansaskid6969 Average speed through the couse was 92.35 MPH. Well over 100+ in the straights. Time 5:09 and the course was 8.0 miles long.

  10. kansaskid6969 says:

    how fast…..mph?

  11. joeyakabert says:

    i want to try this

  12. kdknitro says:

pretty cool seeing the air diverter in the front, bet you can trim her with those

  13. kdknitro says:

pretty cool, i work on boats, cool to see the air diverters in the front move to push the bow around, i bet you can almost trim the boat with those

  14. racing16 says:

@bryanfunk I believe the course was a tick over 8 miles long. The racers have been known to run as close to the banks as possible sometimes due to the shallowness of the water, It will lift the boat up a little higher and their able to gain a little bit more speed. They can run as shallow as 6 inches of water.

  15. bryanfunk says:

how long was that course and how close can one get to the shore? or how shallow can the water be? some of those curves dont look more than a foot deep lol
    great run

  16. jlaforest says:

Dale, you made it look easy which is a real sign of mastery. Awesome run!
