Think the average person fails to appreciated the sport and the majesty of horses probably has to do with social class factors that feed the ignorance of those who have never been around these outstanding animals. I have never been to a horse event that was sponsored by a company like Rolex but I am glued to the tv when I get a chance to see these athletes perform.

you have never truly been scared on your horse then, going to a huge 4 foot oxer for your first time, scared out of your mind, then you trust your horse, and your horse gets you over it

I have seen horses the must jump jumps,they higer then theyself!And where was NO affiance!!
@ILoveMyHorse23 yeah, but it also takes trust for the horses to get over those jumps, that’s why you dont see riders who just hop off the horse and treat it completely ike a business go far in the equestrian world. Only the truly devoted make it. and you have to remember, it takes two to tango

A fight….I think a fight is not absic! You can do this for fun but not to win!I think success is when the horse and rider have belief to each other^^

a 1,200 pound animal jumping that high
a 150 pount (less even) rider on its back controlling it
who do you think would win in a fight?
if the horse was hurt or uncomfortable it could EASILY get the rider off it’s back and not jump anymore

And dressage is bad,too,not ever,but most
@ILoveMyHorse23 these horses are bred to be able to handle those jumps, it doesn’t do NEARLY as bad on their joints as dressage

Jumping is what i live for. I’m 12 and I’ve jumped 3’0″ with my welsh arab. She is injured currently but she is gettting better. Great editing I <3 it!
