here in southamerica qe call peacock bass “tucunare”.
they are known for breaking #9 fly rods easily.
no matter what they tell you, you won’t regret checking out these waters.

  3. lovesp3000 says:

I hate when ever ppl eat the rare fish or animals. This is crime. They are not your food, belong to mother nature. we need to protect them. gosh..

  5. Mink70 says:

@pwnedbyfishies well, i meant 2 say that the red and the black are the 2 MAIN species.

  6. pwnedbyfishies says:

i dont like this video very much because there are so many mistakes like @2:31 there are a lot more and at 3:10 they rarely eat birds and 3:40 they are hydrolycus armatus or vampire tetra and @3:46 they are NOT alligators they are caimen

  7. pwnedbyfishies says:

@Mink70 there are more than 75 species of them. do some research plz

  8. Mink70 says:

@WolfJuiceProductions yup, theres only 2 species of pirahnah, the red and black.

  9. supprize says:

@WolfJuiceProductions thats actually how they pronounce it

  10. TheAlexxx321 says:

@brianoe15 to clarify….. you spelled arowana wrong, and a pirarucu is another name for an arapaima gigas not an arow

  11. kevon2000 says:

@misper34 go to Guyana.. there English speaking and part of the Amazon, so you will get the same fishes too

  12. misper34 says:

Nice video. About how much would it cost to book a trip like this? Just curious. My passport expires in a few years and I have given alot of thought to doing something like this before I have to renew it.

  13. vvSTRIDEvv says:

When yuppies pay to fish…it’s always a bore fest.

  14. WolfJuiceProductions says:

“We caught two different species of PIRANYA” Haha

  15. Cheddar254 says:

you dumbasee pirarucu is another name for arapaima.

  16. brianoe15 says:

to clarify…… in Brazil aruana are know as pirarucu… they are only allowed to be sportcaught on a catch and release basis…commercially caughtfish under 6 feet are illegal…..(though it stilll happens) this is because they do not reach spawning age under this size…..I have eaten most of the major species of amazon fish and the pirarucu is by far the best tasting so it is NOT only asians that eat them

  17. dmillsify says:

Are they a good eating fish.

  18. aleet says:

It’s because they didn’t have it in their region -_-!

  19. CrazyArowanaKeeper says:

Nice! Ur Right Chinese only go for arowana

  20. b18c1tou says:

dam i dont care about the arowana n the bass well the bass looks kool but bring home the vampire piranha man thats a nice fish, n some asians dont really care n pay for those fish just mostly large mouth bass n small mouth bass n chinese go for arowana i think but nice trip

  21. charbcbc says:

next time bring a sandwich for lunch and release the fish so the next person can catch and release too ….. you see its a cycle so you dont deplete the fishing populations . If you dont , one day there wont be many fish to catch and your rod and reel will make great paperweight displays !

  22. ThemSmurfs says:

lump on head means its a female…… not a male idiot

  23. 1234567loading says:

  24. fovea001 says:

  25. memphis9787 says:
