    it’s called a flair.

  2. RubberSoul901 says:

I remember when I saw this live, it is by far the best sprint race I have ever seen, and just further proves on how McEwen is one of the best sprinters to ever live.

  3. Riharden says:

It’s a shame that we can’t see more of how he got through the field…..What average speed must he have done those last 20k – if you knew the distances, you could figure how much faster he was than the rest of the field! 10% faster? 20? It boggles the mind!

  4. Grumme3 says:

Amazing win. It sucks he is injured now.

  5. mattfaulkner says:

I think Cavendish is the closest in style to McEwen. But yeah, a great sprint!

  6. WillsMP says:

McEwen is simply the greatest sprinter. This win is testament to that. It looks like he was running on adrenalin that day seeing as his injuries sustained in the crash forced him to pull out. Nevertheless a great win.

amazing… even though i saw it live, watching it again i was screaming at the computer screen rofl…

About the best ever sprint I have seen.

Mcewen is in a different class.

Freire is about the closest to him of the current breed.

For once, it would be nice, to see the riders have no teammates in the last 5 kms. I think Petacchi would struggle to rack up a win.
