I remember the lies I read several weeks ago about the ecosystem supposedly healing, and wildlife beginning to regenerate.
I’m no environmental scientist, but I knew that was impossible.
.
But to see this video… the evidence right there in our faces…
I feel angry and sick. Mostly, though, I feel powerless.
insert conspiracy theory here
IT will never be over the legacy of the oil spill will linger on for decades.
People will start dying of cancer in a few years because they did not leave the area.
God this is horrible!!!
@ChemiesInDaSky69 Thank You Bro a new video from this spot taken hours ago uploading now
@dxcell1 thanks for watching and commenting I just got back from the same area a few minutes ago video update uploading now
thank you for posting
I can imagine the BP spill episode is not over and stuff will wash-up ashore for some time yet.
as you can see us goverment dont care or they would be cleaning it up out of caring for the ppl
“Thumbs WAY UP”, History!! U R STILL kickin’ Ass! Thanx 4 doin’ that 4 US & keepin’ us posted on the Continuous LIES! @>-^—-
Ok, the BP thing is disgusting. But the funny thing is that even in his own video, the producer of this video can’t be bothered to not answer his cell phone.
The things you don’t see on the news! Nice vid.
@drose91865 There was enough oil in the water ; we did not need sun tan lotion and we use to play marbles with the tar balls
)
@dilbertgeg You are correct ; but this video does not capture the truth. I have seen the beaches of Grand Isle look much worse during shrimp season. This video is a joke. I detest the fact that BP is spending millions of dollars on advertising to boost its image instead of on the clean up and helping the people they hurt. There is something worse than this spill; it is the Politics of this Country.
That is bad Casey, Thank you for showing the TRUTH unlike the USA media, Are they getting payed to HIDE THE TRUTH…..Hmmmm you have to wonder.
@leahcim1958 OK, if you’re not a BP shill, then good reporting. Things are not always what they seem.
On the other hand, the spraying of zillions of gallons of COREXIT into the Gulf is surely as much as a crime as the initial negligence, both as a coverup and the toxicity which is purported to be as bad or worse than the oil that is now presumably sitting on the bottom … not that we’re permitted to investigate.
Republicans accused Obama of “VICIOUSLY ATTACKING” BP, Inc. With a wet noodle. Republicans even publicly apologized to BP, on behalf of America, for Obama’s vicious attack on their reputation and profits.
From profane to profane and bizarre.
Oh Geez, just look what they’ve done, how can the Gulf ever recover from this? And they’re still drilling, 4 thousands + oil rigs drilling away. They’re keeping the world chained to THEIR addiction to oil. Thank you for filming this, we can’t depend on CNN, you know the channel that supposedly is “keeping them honest.” There’s no mention of the Gulf or the 2 other rigs that went down not far from the Horizon a few weeks ago.
Excellent work.
Peace
@AlexFate101 thanks
@vernb57 Yep it makes a great meal
@drose91865 we did the same on my fathers shrimp boat when I was a child growing up the gulls would follow our boat and others by the thousands and devour the throw away fish crabs etc
FYI……We have shrimpers here on the North Carolina coast that run a half mile and/or less from the beaches and they cull their catch as they run up and down the beach and through the inlets. The bird and sea life populations like sharks and other predators/scavenger game fish follow these boats as they toss their by-catch over board. None of it makes it too the beach, ever!
Fortunately for us we don’t have the tar balls and oil yet………….
FYI….. Growing up on Grand Isle in the summer there were “hundreds” of dead fish on the beach attributed to Shrimpers coming too close to the Island to shrimp then sorting their catch keeping the shrimp and desirable fish while tossing the unwanted fish (which had died in their nets) over board eventually washing up on the beach. Yeah it stinks! There was always traces of oil slicks and tar balls also. If you “know” Grand Isle ; honestly, i have never seen the beaches look better.
good vid…
