New Orleans Hornets Beat Miami Heat 96-93 — Big Three Lose Game #6 — 2010 NBA Basketball

Hornets get the clutch 96-93 home victory against the Miami Big 3. Terrific game to watch. Came down to the final possession as the Heat’s Eddie House missed a three pointer that would have sent the contest into overtime. * Photo Credit: Description: Chris Paul during a game against the Milwaukee Bucks. @RauffIe Im not gunna sit here and brag about them breaking records left and right this year….it takes time to mend together and become a solid unit. right now they are a good team but they are not a team that is in sync with each other. We’ll see by next year if they will be able to mend or not.

    I remember two years ago, when the Charlette Hornets swept the Lakers in regular season games, and didn’t even make the playoffs. This means nothing people, seriously. Teams are playing the Heat like it’s game 7 of the NBA finals, while Miami is trying different sets, and learning each other’s traits. New Orleans gave it their all, and only won by 3 points. Miami came back when they wanted to against Boston, AND New Orleans.
    It’s going to get really ugly once Miami gets comfortable.

    @tom11zz884
    You know a team is good when it makes news when they lose 1 game, LoL.

  4. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @tom11zz884 Props to NOH here. They looked terrific!

  5. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @jaydenskywalke04 I think Spo is a good coach. Heard they may go after Doc Rivers though.

  6. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @neworleansalgiershus Man, they look great!

  7. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @AllknowingGuitarGuru Ha ha — we shall see!!

  8. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @enirycful Thanks bro!

  9. enirycful says:

    I think you are feeling not just OK – your analysis is a KO & never mind the nincompoops who think otherwise.

  10. AllknowingGuitarGuru says:

    The Heat is more impressive when they lose? Are you feeling okay? By that logic the Heat is going to be very Impressive when they’re gone in the second round of the Playoffs. Of the Heat’s 5 wins they were against teams that were on average 36%. The best you can say is that they beat the Magic (80%) at home. Don’t bet the farm on the Heat just yet. The problem with the Heat is that they have no inside game and LBJ’s mediocre outside shooting. And they may never gel.

  11. tom11zz884 says:

    The overrated Heat loses once again…this will be the norm when they have to play good teams in the NBA.

  12. jaydenskywalke04 says:

    miami heat need pat riley.

  13. RauffIe says:

    @yadrikya yeah but i’m never been a fan of the cavs or lakers, i just hate how everyone says that the miami heat are the best, that they were going to break records this season, sure they are now better than most of the teams in the nba, but they are still out of the lakers and celtics league

  14. neworleansalgiershus says:

    The hornets are coming this year,KOBE!!!
    Watch out!

  15. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @04makubex Don’t get too happy — it ain’t over!

  16. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @knink24 Lot of truth to what you said. Most nights, they have more than enough. Only a few teams — like New Orleans — can get to Miami’s weaknesses. They still have a whole year to figure it out though.

  17. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @ihatewonders LOL!

  18. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @LegendaryFLA I wish they had got Dampier as well. They need a young bull, though, and Dampier isn’t that. But, he is a solid post defender and rebounder.

  19. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @yadrikya That’s the truth. It’s not about winning 72 games or whatever. It’s finding chemistry, staying healthy and getting playoff seeding. MIA is improving rapidly, but New Orleans showed them what they still have to work on. All props to NOH here, they played great and deserved the win.

  20. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @AJVersatility19 Yep. Well said!

  21. ConservativeNewMedia says:

    @RauffIe I wouldn’t say they suck. They’re still learning the offense (new guys) and still getting used to playing together. Still, they are ridiculously good. They do have a few weaknesses, though, and New Orleans really exploited them.

  22. PWlukersrocks says:

  46. Eyeshield26 says:

    You can stand by it all you want, doesn’t make it true. New Orleans citizens are working hard to build that city back up. Little by little, it’s coming back. I live in Louisiana and have visited NO several times and have dealt with people from that area for years. They are FAR from Lazy.

    GEAUX HORNETS!

  47. pauleunsung says:
