The diverse beauty of Sonoma is experienced as Equitrekking’s Emmy nominated host and equestrian travel expert Darley Newman horseback rides through Redwoods, a vineyard, crashing waves on Northern California beaches and the golden meadows of Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Darley fulfills many people’s dream by taking a beach ride on the dramatic Northern California Coast. Darley ventures among ‘old souls’ through the giant Redwoods of Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve on an eco-tour with naturalist Laura Ayers, whose intimate knowledge comes from growing up among these trees and raising and training Quarter Horses. At a local vineyard known for colorful equestrian history and award-winning Cabernets, Darley horseback rides through rows of grapes to learn about the art of wine making. Darley takes a bike tour through the small-town Sonoma. Equitrekking ends the episode with a sunset ride through the golden grasslands and colorful madrones of Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, with stunning views of Napa and Sonoma Valleys.

@Superponylover why do you feel the need to lie? No one jumps 5ft all the time, not even grand prix riders. sit down please.
this has too be one of THE best equestrian commericals on youtube, well done! xxx
it was like the music was made for the video and u were born to make the video
great job!
THAT WAS AMAZING!!!! when i clicked on it i thought “psh, this is proably going to be another stupid video” but was soooo wrong!!!! i felt like i was accutaly watching a Equestrian commercial, like the ones done by pros and put on for like the World Equestrin Games! wow u did exelent!!! who’s the artist of the song?
I ride all the time, i jump at 5 foot normally and all my friends think its easy then they try a 18inch jump and they fall off. i have gotten injured so many times but i love the thrill
to me horse riding isn’t only a sport but a way of life
I have girls in my school that try to take the mick out of horse riding after i have a few words and show them a video or two they think it’s still easy? the next week i come in to school with a cast on. they now think differently.
@StunnaShowjumper definitely! I’m twelve and recently in school, someone asked me if I did a sport. Of course I said, “yes, horseback riding.” well guess what they said? “that’s not a sport! You don’t do anything but sit.” I got so mad. I put him in his place.
what is the song?
@EbnAddy
Amen to that, dude. Amen to that.
People can get killed (although its rare) and get very bad injuries from horse riding.
I have been brought up with horses and had my own horse all my life and if I havnt ridden for a little and I go riding the next day i can hardly walk, the muscles in my legs my stomach my shoulders kills me and thats only from flat work.
If equestrian wasnt a sport it wouldnt be at the olympics.
@krissylynn13x AMEN!!!
i’ve been riding ever since i was two and now im 16,i’ve ridden horses from complete saints to THE spookiest idiots on the planet,i’ve come close to being thrown,i’ve had horses be heavy in my hands and make my arms ache,i’ve gotten kicked in the chest,now i ask all other athletes,does your equipment have a mind of its own,does it weigh a couple thousand pounds,can it kick with such a force your not backwards?i didn’t think so,so before you say this easy or not a sport think twice!thx for postin
the intro i used that song for a horse breyer series lol
WoW! This video is amazing!
I agree with StunnaShowjumper and Krissylynn13x
and im 13 as well lol. its so annoying how people think ” oh all u do is sit and hold on with ur hands” BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! only if they tried.. its so funny to hear people say they hav riden a horse before.. being led on an old pony at the walk is not ridding, sorry.
@StunnaShowjumper huh?
@southernstyle1234567
Beginner on an 18hh horse?
@StunnaShowjumper wow sounds like you got a cute horse. haha a beginner on an 18hh green horse would be bad. ya ill add you, i have a differnt cannel now so ill send you a message on my other account and add you(:
wow, i’ve watched it breatheless :O. So great!
Amazing video!
With what program do you do your videos?
My brother doesn’t think this is a sport. Well I can tell him that it takes a lot more skill to control a horse than it does to catch a damn football.
woohoo! you got that right!!
amazingg xx
i’ve got fifteen years of experienc riding (i’m sixteeen now) and even after 16 years with horses they’re stil blumin frightening if they’re running at you full pelt.
and even after riding for fifteen years, my heart skips whenever i vault or jump over two foot cause its such a challenging sport. anyone who challenges that, really p*sses me off – Footy is so much harder, motorcross is so much mroe dangerous. casue riding a 200pond animal with an unpredictable mind of its own isnt hard haha!
@krissylynn13x Skill of the Mind and heart
