Fans snapped up tickets to Kid Rock’s Jan. 15 birthday concert at Ford Field in 19 minutes Friday, according to promoters. But there is hope for those ticketless fans wanting to celebrate Rock’s 40th birthday with more than 45,000 other fans.

Minnesota makes winning bid for Japanese hitting star
