This was one wonderful era to be an Orioles fan. EVERY night there was a chance of seeing something that had never been seen before. Every game was an event. Other teams may have had good/great players, but we had Frank Freakin’ Robinson, and Brooks, and Jim and Boog and Paul and Mark and Davey and Andy and Elrod and Dave and Mike and Earl. We considered ourselves the luckiest fans in the world.
Since the Yankoffs buy up all the great players now, we’ll likely never see their sort again.

Listen i am a Yankees fan and i love my team and yes we are the best (baltimorefan21) however i always admired Eddie Murray, Cal Ripken and Rick Dempsey. Classy guys and great players. Maybe one day Baltimore will be great again but….You need Earl Weaver man! That guy was fucking great!
