3. Brad Childress: Move over, Norm Green. Childress was the area’s favorite sports villain and an easy scapegoat for the Vikings’ demise. He not only presided over the Vikings’ soap opera, he helped with the plot, considering how he handled everyone from Favre to Randy Moss. One play from the Super Bowl at the start of the year, he lasted 10 games — which might have been too long.
