I grew up in florida fishing since i was 6 or 7..now i relise how lucky i’ve been to grow up[ here…if ever said anything about buying bait I’d get hung!!!!
@casey10614 Im not from there, i do have relatives there that i do fishing with. I’ve done mainly Flounder here but trout are also good, but honestly, there is an amazing flounder run at this park, i forget what it’s called but it has An old time Battleship and on the right side, it’s the channel and left side it’s the bay, and the left side we did a lot of wading and slammed the flattys. I’m sure there are plenty of trout there as well.
@casey10614 anywhere in the of the beach on flat days. I went out today on the westend and caught the limit on specs.

i caught alot of speckled trout in fl off thee coast of boca grande every time you would cast you would get a bite i caught a 21 inch

@a90351cleveland Contrary to popular belief from dumbasses such as yourself a9035….. Cynoscion Nebuloses aka, Speckled Trout is ACTUALLY a member of the Drums…. Weak fish are also a member of the drums/croakers.. cheers..

ok mr im smarter than a biologist the “speckled trout” we know and i LOVE is actually a weakfish and it is a member of the drum family as are redfish and croakers which are drum NOT GRUNTS@1z1q

TRUST ME, I know more about Specks and salt/freshwater fish species in Texas than most Phd biologist do..there are no trout species Native to Texas waters brothger.. A “speck” is not a true trout, it more related to Croakers such as Redfish or the Grunt family of fishes..
