@alderaforall I don’t say I’m a saint or that I’m perfect. But unlike most other people I don’t cry about it when I have to face the consequences. Take whatever material you want … but don’t complain if you get sued for it. Because you not only broke the law, you also did it on purpose. Not the system is wrong – just what you’re doing is wrong. But laws don’t forbid anything. They just say what’s going to happen if you do certain things (there’s a difference!)

You asked me if it would bother me if someone were to use my work without my permission remember? So, Yes, it does matter how I feel about the situation if I were put in it. Now how do you know if the creator of this material cares if this guy uses it? The creator of the material aired this on national and or world wide television, they are either completely stupid or kidding themselves if they were to think they could keep complete control of the media once they hit the transmitt button.
@alderaforall It doesn’t even matter if it would bother YOU or not. The point is: The creator of this material probably does care and he is allowed to. So as long as you don’t know if you’re allowed to use it or not – don’t … or live with possible consequences. It’s as simple as that.
For some time I did art, too. And my work also was stolen a few times. And yes, it bothers me! if they’d have asked I would have said “yes”, but stealing it w/o asking bothers me.
We can go back and forth with our points, if someone were to use my work for a video such as this, I can honestly say it wouldn’t bother me. Now, like I said earlier, if the uploader is trying to make a buck then yes, I would be less than amused and want to be both credited and paid for my work. You have to be flexible and reasonable, look at record companies. They thought suing people who traded music files would be the right way to stop the problem. They refused to change with technology.

@WieFunktioniertMathe The clips that are in other episodes are only in the first 3 or 4. Yea, the intro is DIS, but not in newer episodes, just the first 5 I think. And the music, some or most of which is free for use in this manner, if it weren’t, the video most likely would’ve been blocked. I will keep what you said in mind for future episodes, I’ll seek permission more often on what permission needs to be granted on. Thanks for the concern.
@wrfilmshd There are also clips from DIS in other episodes. But I don’t really talk about the destruction clips, as they -mostly- are free for use (at least non-commercial). Im talking about the intro you stole parts from DIS. Also, you use music without having the rights for. Say what you want – what you do is illegal, what DIS does is not.

Yes, it does have clips from Destroyed In Seconds and yes the intro is also from Destroyed In Seconds, I used part of that shows intro in several episodes of TD. But, wait, what does Destroyed In Seconds do? Oh thats right, they use other peoples clips of the destruction, its not like I can make original clips of this destruction. Well, on the other hand I could, but that would cost billions of dollars.
@wrfilmshd You are still taking copyrighted material without permission. So, in fact, you still do steal material and just re-cut it. And without looking all episodes, at least two of the videos are taken from “Destroyed in seconds” … just as where you stole parts of the intro video.

With a subsequent 317.60 mph run, he became the first and only person to exceed 300 mph (482 km/h) on water and live to tell the tale; Donald Campbell died on his attempt after his hydroplane crashed at over 320 mph on his return run in his 1967 record attempt. Warby’s record still stands, and the 300 mph barrier has never again been exceeded.
