I dont understand why more people dont talk to their horses while they are going xc. I know that I talk to my horse while I am riding him and he does very well when I talk to him. I started talking while going xc when I would hold my breath so it also forces you to keep breathing. Yah you might sound kinda funny but hey if it works then do it!
great job, i love to see riders that comfort their horses like her
It was Novice so it has to be 2’11″. Also I agree the rider is great to her horse but the person posting it is a company that records horse competitions not the rider. I love being able to be to see the course I am hoping to qualify and it just gets me excited to go!
how big was this??
2’9/3′ im guessing??
That’s awesome. In my first cross country course I did at a show I was talking to my horse sooo much, I must have looked like an idiot!
One day, I hope that I own my own horse and I’ll be able to jump like this. It would be like a dream come true. =D And wonderful job. I agree with everyone about her praising her horse. I love to see that. I do the same thing. It’s good to praise your horse for the work they do. They deserve it.
thanks for putting this video up; i’m aiming for the AEC next year and every little thing helps!
