    A couple of bowling games that require even more skill, are found in the eastern part of the US down as far as the Maryland area but a lone center of this first type can be found further south yet. The first is hardbelly duckpins or simply duckpins without that same large round rubber around the belly of the pin that 5-pin uses. The hardest of all the bowling games and lowest scoring found in the US in New England and the Canadian Maritimes is Candlepin bowling, where deadwood stays in play.
