In July of 1993, the world famous Mark Spoor looked to be on track to bowl a 300 game inthe Del Lanes Summer Adult Junior Bowling League. He had the first 11 strikes in a row and then… on the 12th shot, he went over the foul line. Listen for the high pitched beep – that is Mark Spoor going over the foul line. He ended up with a 290 game in a way that is really rare. Mark’s buddy Bill Cornell provides the commentary at the end of the clip. This was bowling’s finest hour.
