The Kansas City Royals team up with Heart to Heart to aid Haiti

It’s not everyone that gets followed around by a half-dozen news crews while doing some Thursday afternoon shopping. But in this case, the shoppers were Kansas City Royals pitching phenom Zack Greinke, winner of the American League Cy Young award, and Royals left fielder David DeJesus. The two created a stir at Sam’s Club in Independence, Mo., as they shopped for relief supplies being gathered by Heart to Heart International. DeJesus and Greinke pledged 00 apiece for the effort, and the Kansas City Royals are matching that 00 pledge.
