Following the 1987 Cotton Bowl, Ohio State star receiver Cris Carter grabbed coach Earle Bruce’s snap-brim hat, put it on his own head and had his picture taken with his left arm wrapped snugly around his coach as they both beamed.Just a few months later, Carter was suspended for accepting money from an agent and shortly after that was declared ineligible for his senior season.
